I’m married to Aidan and we have 4 fantastic kids. Jamie is 18 and our only boy, he is totally outnumbered by his 3 sisters; Aoife, 16, Kayleigh 14 and Caroline, 8. We have the cutest dog in the world, Coco, and we all love her to bits.
At times I can’t see the wood for the trees with the cookbooks and recipes that I’ve collected, and I’m now slowly realising that my passion is every type of cooking, baking and sugar craft decorating! (Oh, I love a nice glass of Cabernet to accompany the reading / cooking & eating that the said cookbooks encourage! )
What else can I say? I try to be the “glass is half full” type of person but sometimes that’s a bit of a battle, though I firmly believe that “whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right”.
The journey that you’ll read about on our blog began over thirty years ago, on our first day at Secondary School, when I met, the one person in all the world who was to become my truest friend ever, and has journeyed with me through thick and thin over our lifetime, Yvonne & I have shared so many experiences, and we hope that you can join in this journey with us as we discover the wonders that have yet to unfold, and laugh and cry at some of the ones that have already passed.
